for sale on Records.Earth. Our journey began in 1988 under the
name Albatross Home Entertainment. At the time, we imported English
movies on laserdiscs and VHS cassettes for major distribution
companies in Switzerland. Today, we operate a sound archive specializing
in phonograph cylinders and shellac records.
Thanks to donations and acquisitions, our inventory has grown
to several hundred thousand items — mostly 78 rpm gramophone records.
By selling duplicate copies from our stock, we are able to cover
part of our archive's operating costs, allowing us to remain independent
of cultural subsidies. |
